When you roll a dice for the Start of Battle against The Ancient One Ithaqua to see if a item is lost or not, l assume this is on a roll of 5 or 6 for a success. Also what do you roll against, what is classed as items in this case.
Items
"Items" always includes Common items, Unique items, and Spells. That applies to trading items too.
When discarding for the final battle, you have to roll for each item one at a time. Any time a roll is described as "roll a die, on a success..." it refers to that investigator's current success numbers. In other words, if you have Blessing you succeed on 4-6.
Thanks Sothis. l was not sure if money was classed as a item as it can be traded l think.
Good point. Money can be traded, but does not count as an item.
Ok l have it now, thanks again.

Those identical avatars sure are confusing. For several seconds I was wondering why someone would write such a monologue here...
