I played this 200 point vs 200 point battle last night. An amazing victory for me

After the first turn I went straight 5 mostly and made my formation He did the same
This round I took 4 shields from the Millenium Falcon, He did nothing to me

This is the second round. As you can see Soontir on the outside right moved forward barrel rolled right and boosted to right out of wedges fire arc with whom he is directly in front of
The millenium falcon got raped and i took a couple hits here and there but nothing big
My front interceptors moved up then barrel rolled left and caused the falcon to bump me
Dark curse is the one on the far left
Notice the falcon is right on top of the asteroid, it caused him to not be able to shoot and he took a damage
Vader got the kill on the falcon

This is the aftermath of round 2

In round 3 everything disintegrated with sootir flying across the board to behind the y-wing and vader getting stuck in the middle
this round wedge got annihalated

The right x-wing did a u turn and my ties met them the y-wing got chased and lived many of my pilots had to move into better position for next round
by this time he is missing both his big hitters and is left with crap

So this round many of my ships gave chase to the y-wing but he still survived
Vader is stuck in the middle and will be for a while
Howlrunner took 2 damage and soontir got turned all the way around by a good bluff from the y-wing

-Rebel player lost by being afraid of asteroids during their placement (both players placed them as far apart from each other as possible while creating easy lanes - rebel shouldn't have done that; imperial was super advantaged)

-He then flew like they weren't there - this is the trigger of a fatal mistake

-Too many A-Wings as well

I offered to take his picture next to his fleet but he declined good idea I guess.

besides his fatal error with the Falcon I did a pretty good job maneuvering I think. Killing Wedge that way was awesome. His jaw dropped when I pulled it off.

I can see Stormtrooper giving me flak later today too. lol

His list was terrible. I thought your list was bad, but you flew it perfectly and with a very good outcome.

I love the big games. Biggest I have played was an 8 person 800pt game

If all my ships were utilized, you would have two 400 point builds. 8 100 pointers would not be good outta my mix.

Ya, it turned into basically 3 games

Elusiveness caused two of my ships to not be damaged. It was very useful. I think it was two crits I got rid of.

Definitely the critical moment was round 2; getting the flank on Wedge is big and blocking the Falcon into the asteroid was HUGE. Looks like you soundly outflew him and then cleaned up the scraps.

Looks like a fun game! What mat is that? I was thinking about buying a Hotz one but this looks good/useful!

I find it really odd that you only lost dark curse. He was both the hardest to kill and weakest attacker out of your entire list. Was it just a lucky pot shot or two or did he really focus on him?

Dark curse actually died to he asteroid. A kill is a kill though. He woulda killed him anyways.

I made the mat. A 3x3 piece of felt that I precision cut to be really accurate. Then I used a white crayon to outline the asteroid zone and starting areas. My girlfriend painted it with spray paint and other stuff.
