Not had any issues reading it at all, and I'm pretty short-sighted.

I have a very hard time reading the text in the Core Rulebook. Once you are in your 40's and need reading glasses, small text with light font can become a much bigger issue.

I almost turned my back on getting into the game based on this issue alone, but I did buy the book and am now playing.

Stat blocks are terribly unfriendly to run at the table. I'd buy a 'bestiary' book with well laid out stat blocks if only they would sell one! :-)

Yeah, i have to read it with a magnifying glass.
