Call of the Three-Eyed Crow

Response: After a unique non-Army character you own enters your dead pile, put that character into play knelt under your control.

1,My Kindly Man attach opponent's Enslaved,when Kindly Man die,can I use CotTEC?

2,I use CotTEC return my Rickon Stark into play, can I use Rickon's ability again?

3,can I use CotTEC to Damon Dance-For-Me who is immune to events?

sorry for my english.

thanks.

1. It depends. If the Enslaved-Kindly Man would become your agenda upon being killed (because neither you nor your opponent had an agenda when Kindly Man was killed), the character will not "enter your dead pile," so you cannot use Call of the Three-Eyed Crow. If the Enslaved-Kindly Man would go to your dead pile when it is killed (because either or both you and your opponent has an agenda when Kindly Man was killed), you would meet the play restrictions of the event and could play it.

2. Probably not. Call of the Three-Eyed Crow makes the character go from "moribund:dead pile" to "moribund:remains in play." While it is moribund, it is considered to have been put in the dead pile for purposes of initiating passives and Responses, but has not really left play yet. Since Rickon would leave the moribund state (technically, an "in play" state) and remain in play, he has never actually left play. Since he hasn't actually left play, his limit would not "reset." It's still the "same card" as far as the limit is concerned because the card never physically left play.

3. No.

thanks,my AGOT-Rule King :)

What section of the rules says Moribund:Dead/Discard is the equivalent of putting the card in the dead/discard pile? I can't find it.

Also, what was the official ruling that makes Call of the Three Eyed-Crow work? It doesn't work as printed.

If there's no official ruling, is the current convention that Call of the Three Eyed-Crow is what is being referenced in 3.42 and should be considered as such?

Page 19, second paragraph under "What is 'Moribund'?" To whit: "This includes responses and passive abilities triggered by a card being placed in the appropriate out-of-play area."

Yes, 3.42 is the official ruling that makes Call of the Three-Eyed Crow work. Not to be "that guy," but what other current card or effect in the game could 3.42 be referring to?

i have a question, over cotc, if a targaryen throw a kissed on a character an i use cotc the effect of kissed last until the end of phase, die another time?

No, because the character leaves play (meaning Flame Kissed is discarded) and then returns to play, so any other effects on it are also reset. Re-entering play makes it like the character enters play for the first time, so any previous -X effects or +X effets. etc. will no longer apply.

Wow... Terrible presentation/execution, but it actually works as written with the updates... I'm shocked.
