Ibtisam is a female Mon Cal with (after Endor) Rogue Squadron. I don't think referring to her as a woman is out of the question though. Technically, everyone in that fiction is an alien; even the "human" race.
I would use women, female feels to clinical. I'm sure there is different etiquette for how each species refers to the gender of others in basic.

Ibtisam looks like a badass. Knows how to fight inside and outside a cockpit. Clearly handles stress well (heh). I think she's a great addition to the pilot line up.

As far as I know there's no official pic of Cive (Howlrunner). SW galaxies has a tiny portrait I guess, but none of the SWG figures were particularly attractive or comperable to their canon counterparts.

With her release, she is the 4th member of Rogue Squadron to get printed on a pilot card.

I've been re-painting the names on my basic Red Squadron pilot cards and ship tokens and have Red Sonja joining the boys (Redd Foxx, Red Skelton, and Red Buttons).

Ibtisam is a great character but didn't join Rogue squadron until like a year after Endor. She fought with Blue squadron (I think) during Endor.

An article I read today said that Leia Organa is one of the pilots for one of the large Rebel ships, possibly Tantive IV.
It'd be cool if she flew an X-Wing like she does in the recent Star Wars comics!
Doubt Leia will be a "Pilot"... I understood her to be a "Crew Upgrade" card.

Also, I've heard we'll see Nera Dantels as another female character in Rebel Aces, piloting B-wing. She was a smuggler who worked with Alliance, and later joined the Rebellion. She was flying with the very first B-wing unit, Dagger Squadron, as Blue Dagger. She also had a relationship with Biggs
