I painted a unique, prototype Tie Advanced (I've made this up, it's not based on any EU lore):

(it actually looks better than the dodgy picture suggests).

My inspiration is cars used in safety tests (and crash test dummies, to some extent), so I'm thinking I might add markings to it. Any suggestions? I want it to look like a prototype.

I'd say some yellow stripes, maybe even yellow and black to suggest specific areas on the ship that would be subject to testing or scrutiny. Maybe some aura besh lettering to denote the prototyp number?

That actually sounds really a awesome. Would love to see more pics if you make any more changes like that to it.
