I like this, but why not have something that tracks players weekly (like friday night magic kinda stuff) I mean I like having a tourny ranking, but I think it might be good to have like a weekly gamenight tourny

We are taking baby steps right now. Start with tournement rankings and maybe move to more in depth ranking with every game night. Also, not everyone does the one on one Swiss style during their game nights, that play a campaign, missions, etc

Tournament kill points?
