Do you get the fantasy flight sleeves for cards for free with some purchases?

Till now everysingle purchase that I have made I have never got one of these card sleeves, even when they mention an amount such as four on the back, of the amount of sleeves included?

Could someone please tell me if this is supposed to be like this or if there is something wrong!

Thank You!

No, sleeves are not included in any purchases. You must purchase them separately.

But is does look like you can claim a certain amount of sleeves, I have been looking for a bit now and I have yet to find where you can claim them.

Can anyone confirm how this works or post a link to a page about it?

I thought that too at first: but the numbers on the boxes with the pictures of sleeves refer to the size of the card sleeves that would be needed for the game -- they're not included.

Oh, that pretty much makes sense, but it seemed like there are different numbers on some boxes(same game)

Good question, I've been curious about this myself. I've always seen those "Fantasy Flight Supply" numbers on the back of the boxes of the Star Wars sets. Trouble is all the cards are the same size and it usually says anywhere from 2 to 5. Could anybody clear this up?

The number is not a size, it is the number of packs required to fully sleeve the contents. Fantasy Flight uses a color system, so if you (using Eldritch Horror as an example) see a Green Box with a 4 in it and a Yellow Box with a 3 in it, it means you need 4 packs of the Green, and 3 packs of the Yellow to fully sleeve them. The sleeves come in 50 packs and are clear, so the color is just to know what size you need. In this case, Yellow is the size for 'Mini American Board Game' cards, while Green is 'Standard American Board Game' cards.

So, having a 3 in the box means I need 3 packs of whatever color sleeves I need. Of course, this could mean that there is 101 cards in the game, so I'll have 49 sleeves left over. So if another game needs 3 packs of the same, I don't necessarily need 6 packs total, 5 might be sufficient. Hope it's not that confusing, it's a fairly simple system when you get used to it, just don't overbuy!
