Age of Rebellion Beta a go!

Are you trying to say that just because something is an obligation, doesn't mean the word is off limits. If so, I agree. I wouldn't call Duty an expansion of the dutybound obligation though. It's a totally new mechanic that we don't have the details of just yet.

I would think the 'transfer' mechanics from one game to the next are likely the thing that'll get the most solid testing, and most in need of it.

What transfer mechanics?

I'm guessing the ability to take PCs built in EotE and run them in games with PCs built using AoR, to see if you truly can play characters from each game together in the same group.

Other than the change in background (Obligation and Duty) I don't see much being different. Choose your background, race, career, spec, skills, talents. I suppose they could start with more XP, but that would be an easy fix. Probably can combine Obligation and Duty once we have them both. We shall see.

I'm super excited for this one.
I wasn't around for the EotE Beta, is this usually sold by sites like coolstuffinc?
Or just via the official FFG site?

I definately don't want to miss out!

I noticed this morning they added new forums to the AoR Beta, specifically one devoted to an included adventure "Operation - Shell Game". Sounds good already :)

Hi, all!

In regards to the Age of Rebellion Beta book, I have just received the following reply from Tony Mills of the FFG Customer Service Team:

We will have that available some time during this quarter. Please watch the Upcoming page for information as it comes.

Well, it looks like the book is a definite for Q3!

I would be shocked if the book wasn't out in Q3 since they want feedback by early October.

I fully expect the book to be available for purchase between this thursday and sunday. Gencon.
