We all know that there are some occasions, when cards must be selected randomly. Scout, for example. Well, we resolve this in such way - I chose which card the opponent must discard (I don't know which card is what, I only chose a card). Is that method legal? Or there is another way to resolve randomizing?

Regarding scout - I show my hand to the oppenent and he picks one card (of course he only sees backs of the cards ).

Other random selection - for example pick one out of five you know ->dice, cards go from 1 to 5, you reroll 6.

I've got two dice sets left from my adnd-loving years, so it seems to be an option
