Daredevil

Wait a moment, does the boost action trigger R2-D2?

No it does not.

However, Daredevil says that you execute a white maneuver, which can turn Green from an R2 Astromech. Theoretically, if you could have 2 astromechs, R2-D2 could be added, allowing you to gain 2 shields in a turn!

But isn't the boost a green maneouver and wouldn't that therefore trigger R2-D2 again? I don't see how a movement from one action (DD) could theoretically add a shield if it was turned white, but not the actual green movement from a different action. Is there a ruling on that somewhere?

Boost doesn't state that it's a maneuver.

IF it was possible the Combination of:

R2-d2.png + R2_Astromech.jpg + Daredevil.png

Would make the 1Turn Maneuver from Daredevil "Green" Proc'ing R2D2.

Resulting in 2 shields IF you made a Green Maneuver before your action.

You are correct, the boost card states that it does not count as executing a maneuver.

****, that would have been neat on an X-wing!

I don't have the daredevil card yet, but it certainly sounds interesting. I'm all for upgrades and abilities that add spice and variety to the game.
