We played Masquerade Ball last night and had an interesting question come up.
Q. Can Avirc use Prayer of Healing on a Hero who does not have any damage to heal, and then using Divine Fury give that Hero a Yellow die to use on their next attack?

Looks like you already have your answer on BGG for this one. I would agree that whether the target of Prayer of Healing is healed any points or not, they would still get the Yellow attack die form Divine Fury.
You pay 1 fatigue, choose a hero, roll 1 red power die, target hero recover rolled number of hearts and get a yellow die on
any
next attack next turn.
The question is not "does hero recovered any health" but "was Prayer of Healing used on that hero".

Prayer of Healing doesn't say that it can't be used on someone that isn't at max health or that the bonus of Divine Fury requires healing to have occurred. There are even cases where the healing from Prayer of Healing could be reduced to 0, and the Divine Fury would still take effect (since the healing reduced doesn't necessarily negate the use of the card.)
I'm fairly certain that this was addressed by FFG, but I can't find the source for it at the moment.

Note that it's the NEXT (not any) attack and it has to be THIS round (meaning that it has to be before the Overlord --> Hero transition)

Forgot reading of that skill. Yep, edited my post.
Thanks for the quick responses. This is how our group agreed to use the abilities as well.
We just wanted to get some consensus - thanks!

Edited by NastraDOOMusThe yellow die only works for 1 attack, then it is gone. If the hero has not used the yellow die before the OL turn, that is poor planning. However, I do not think that a Dark Charm attack would use the extra yellow. I will check that.
Dark charm should. You get to make one attack. I don't see a reason why you couldn't force the player to use the yellow die

The reason would be because it's been previously ruled that things like the skirmisher's unstoppable can't be used. That is, even passive hero skills don't seem to come into play with that skill.
