I wonder how many people signed up for the FFG seminar this year expecting a free AoR Beta book? I hope they get it.
AOR Beta
HIGH--Larious! Hope the book is at GenCon next week. It would be almost the exact pattern. Last year they annouced the Beta to much applause... and then said... "Oh by the way, it is here at Gencon... NOW. They are unboxing it on the floor as we speak.
I'd imagine they'd have copies for sale at GenCon. Maybe not that many, but at least a decent stock, as FFG has to know that's going to be a big seller.

I'm actually thinking the opposite. The Upcoming page shows them as In Development for Q3, and not even at the printers.
If they were going to have them at GenCon, then they would have waited a week to announce it there.
I'd love to be wrong, though.

Well, GenCon is also the big show in the gaming industry, with thousands of gamers coming from the four corners of the globe. It's also not cheap for those companies with vendor space in the dealer hall, so if they can ensure a certain level of sales by having copies in stock, I'm sure they'd do so.
Also, I think August falls into Q3, with Q4 starting with October.
Personally, I'm hoping to sang a copy of both AoR beta and Beyond the Rim at GenCon ![]()
Feedback is due October 8th so it can't be too far after Gencon. I expect them to premier at Gencon.
FFG may or may not put a AOR beta book.
Decisive. I like it.
FFG may or may not release a Walking Dead RPG based upon their narrative system.
There is a 100% chance that you are correct. ![]()
Do you think FFG will follow the same lead as EOTE and put out a beta for AOR or no?
uh...I really had no idea guys.. ![]()
It would be epic for FFG to susccesfully sell 6 different copies of one rules system to some gullible idiots (the beta and release of all three core books). I would probably be one of those idiots.
Well crap, it looks like I'm going to be an idiot.

The panel sold out the day tickets went on sale. I know, because I tried to get a seat at the panel, just to hear first-hand what FFG had in store for the following year.

Hey, at least you'll be in good company ![]()
I missed the EotE beta, and haven't yet picked up a copy. But I am very likely to be a More On and pick up the AoR beta. So I think "Idiot" is going to prove a very popular player species.
For the past 5 yrs I only ever get to go on Saturdays for the fun that is GenCon. My wife, on the other hand has been working the Con for like 13 years or so. Maybe, just maybe she can snag a copy of the AoR Beta for me before they go *poof*.
