Summoning Season timing

By lahomen, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

When revealed, choose an opponent. Then, you and that opponent must each search your decks for a character, reveal it,and put it into your hands. Then, shuffle your decks.

Timing issue. Player 1 flips this plot, searches for Character 1. Does Player 2 get to search for Character 2 after seeing Player 1's selection, or is it double blind?

The player who revealed the plot must reveal his selection first.

So Player 1 reveals, for example, Stannis Baratheon (the king). Player 2 may then search for Robb Stark (also a king).

Correct. For more info, see ktom's explanation here .

Would Much and More function the same way? For example, would the reveler of Much and More reveal the top 4 cards of their deck and choose 1 before the opponent reveals the top 4 cards of their deck? M&M is worded a little differently, but wonder if it's essentially the same.

Much and More is kind of an apples-to-oranges comparison. One person is choosing multiple cards (one for each player) from common/open information (the revealed cards). This is completely different from Summoning Season, where each person is choosing their own character from hidden/private information (their deck).

All cards are revealed for Much and More to everyone. Then the person who played the event chooses one card for each player, effectively in any order they want.

OK thanks ktom.
