Objective cards, stage 1 and stage 2?

By dmuerto, in Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition

Hey´all

a total TI noob here with a question:

So at the beginning of the game every player is dealt 1x secret objective card. If he/she ever completes it, will he/she get a new secret objective card or is the old one just discarded?

Then you deal 1 objective card stage 1 on the board everytime someone activates the strategy card Imperial I, correct?

So here is where I get cuckoo, when will we start dealing objective cards stage 2s? Can´t find it from the rulebook.

Oh and if there is a public objective card in play, if 1 player completes it, is it removed/ discarded from game, or can multiple players complete it, in other words put their flags on top of it when completed?

Thanks in advance! :)

You do not get a new Secret Objective after you complete the one you were dealt.

Go back an re-read the rules for "Preparing the Objective Cards" on page 7.

You don't use all the Public Objectives in a single game. You use a stack of 6 Stage I cards on top of a stack of 4 Stage II cards. One of the Stage II cards will always be the "Imperium Rex" card that ends the game immediately. You begin dealing Stage II cards after all 6 Stage I's have been dealt out.

Mulitple players can complete the same objective. Each player can only complete each objective once himself (denoted by putting his flag on the card.)
