Breacher - Mancharian Handbook

In the Macharian handbook it says you get 2xSTR if the breacher is an implant.

I can't seem to find where that is detailed in the books?
I've checked the Inquisitors and the Errata but can't find mention of the 2xSTR bonus anywhere.

Can anymore help me out with where that ruling is please?

The IH says "+10 to Str&T" in the description of Mining Helot Augmentic, p.139.

Yeah the statistic bonus due to the Mining Helot Augmentic is very nice (the penalty not so nice)

Macharian Handbook pg 114-115

"If used as an implant, the user may add double their Strength Bonus to the breacher's Damage, and the weapon rolls an additional 2d10 rather than 1d10 when successfully inflicting Righteous Fury."

I just can't seem to source (in the original book or errata) where the double strength bonus comes from?

And.. I've noticed that I spelt Macharian wrong.

Macharian Handbook have a lot of alternate stats - it's fan-made, after all.

Keep in mind that it gets stats from Rogue Trader as well. So breacher may not be the mining Heliot Augmentic- its actually something else. There is a breacher somewhere around the books, I believe.

As exotic melee weapon breacher is mentioned in the IH, p. 135.

Has anyone seen the breacher come up in any books other than IH?

(I've seen it as the exotic melee weapon and as the freebie on the mining augment)

My gaming group only has the DH books, so I'm now curious if its stat line was changed in one of the other rule sets?

I could not find it in the RT books. In the Rites of Battle (DW) "Breaching Augur" don't double Str bonus.

I was trying to dig through my massively incongruous notes to discover where that came from and I actually couldn't find anything on that particular note. Most of the Macharian Handbook is rules-as-written but I have made constructive edits here and there so that could be one of those. You may wish to consider that a "house rule" if the specifics are of a great importance to your gaming group.
