Music to listen to whilst playing EotE?

By TheShaunsie, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Anyone have a solid online resource for playing background Star Wars/Sci-Fi music during a game? Been sifting through Pandora and 8tracks, and can't find anything quite as focused as I'd like.

Thoughts?

Firefly

Serenity

Uncharted (all three)

Prometheus

Hidalgo

The Mummy trilogy

Scorpion King

Zorro (the first Banderas one)

The Rock

Armageddon

Conair

Gone in 60 Seconds

I Am Number 4

Man in the Iron Mask

I use music in almost every session, and it's almost always a movie or video game score. With a few notable exceptions (such as Firefly, because, well, it's Firefly!) I try to stay away from highly recognizable material (eg, Indiana Jones or The Lord of the Rings), although I do sometimes put non-movie Star Wars music, like the Clone Wars or Shadows of the Empire, into rotation.

I tend to stay away from anything with lyrics, although I've knowingly made two exceptions: 1) I used a foreign language pop song (I think from t.A.T.u.) when a player visited a space strip club, and 2) there's a group of "space magistrates" whose signature song is Toby Keith's "Beer for My Horses."

Well, three. If we do a "caper" adventure, especially a more lighthearted one, I pull out the Ocean's 11 soundtrack.

With respect to music that people may not recognize, I'm a big fan of Trevor Rabin, who has scored some fantastic stuff, often in movies that don't quite go big. I also find that people aren't going to recognize most video game scores, so I've started to bolster that part of my collection. To date, I've gotten the most mileage out of the Uncharted series, which have a strong adventure feel to them.

I missed the question in the original post. My only real resource is my iPod. :(
