I could use some clarification on some things. I apologize if these have been covered before. My search-fu is weak today.

1. Does the Success from a Triumph get canceled by a normal Failure or do you need a Despair to cancel the Success half of the Triumph?

2. Can I use both Overwhelm Emotions and Influence: Control on the same Coerce check? Would a Force Rating 1 character be able to add a Force Die per Force rating to the Coerce check AND roll an Influence Power check as part of the same Coerce check? Or would I only be able to use one of those because I'd only have a Force Rating 1.

1. The success portion is just like any other success. So it gets cancelled by any old failure. Sounds like you know this, but still gonna say that the Triumph awesomeness doesn't cancel to anything, only the success portion (and same with Despair) .

2. I'll leave this with people who have played with the Force. I have not.

2. I'm pretty sure that you can technically use both things at once. I would allow it, so as long as y our GM is okay with it, go for it!
