Anyone have any info or stats on mounts? (dewbacks, tauntauns, etc)

I did a write-up for Banthas over at the Gamer Security Agency (site link in my sig). Haven't had the time to do any other mount write-ups though.

I wonder when we'll see them in game. I assume they'll be saved for a splatbook of some sort.

I also wonder how much encumbrance room a tauntaun will have, so that we can know how many bodies can safely be stored inside it.

It would make since to have some mounts in the Explorer career book coming soon.

Well, it would be +4 like a backpack if you stuff somebody inside. However, getting the then gutted Tauntaun to move around and actually carry the gear would be a tad tricky.

The Age of Rebellion Beta actually provides stats for a Dewback.

And there's really not anything special aside from a new Special Ability called Domesticated which cites a character can use the Survival skill to guide the creature, with Dewbacks imposing a setback die to said rolls.
