Haas Bioroid creation and control

By SerAndrew, in Android: Netrunner Deck Building

I'm an old school netrunner player, so bear with me because this is my first new deck. I have all but one expansion so far. This is a true haas bioroid deck, getting a huge boost from "creation and control." Basically the goal is to bring out expensive, mostly brain damage causing ice, for free or reduced, and using extra actions to score agendas faster. I'll put Janus in once I get that expansion. The deck is 4 cards over but that hopefully shouldn't be an issue because of my identity. I don't see the need for the influence with so many awesome hb cards, but again this is my first deck:

Next Design (49 cards)

Agendas (20 points):

Director Haas' pet project

Project Wotan x3

Accelerated beta test x3

Project Vitruvius x 3

Upgrades:

Awakening center x3

Tyr's hand x3

Assets:

Director Haas x2

Adonis Campaign x2

Cerebral overload x2

Operations:

Bioroid efficiency research x3

Hedge fund x3

Biotic Labor x3

Ice:

Howler x3

Zed 1.0 x2

Ichi 1.0 x2

Viktor 1.0 x3

Heimdall 1.0 x 3

Heimdall 2.0 x3

Ichi 2.0 x2

49 cards is actually considered to be something of an optimal deck size for corps. I've played against another player who used both Oversight AI and Bioroid Efficiency Research. It's really annoying when your opponent is rezzing Heimdall 2.0 and Janus for practicalll nothing. You can usually get through a server if you're willing to take some brain damage, which is where traps come in.

Come to think of it, you don't have Oversight AI in here. Playing with big expensive ice is ok, but you'll get eaten alive by criminal decks if you can't use Oversight AI and Bioroid Research. Emergency shutdown is such a beating against big ice.

Also, I don't think you have enough economy to support all that big ice. Especially if you're relying on bioroids. People are just going to click through your stuff and trash your economy. You might consider a few smaller things that stop the run.

Thanks for the advice! I would run Oversight AI but its a Weyland card and does not have an influence box so I cannot use it with Bioroid.

You mister need to take a closer look to the cards oversight AI cost 2 "bubbule" i mean 2 influence :D .

Actually the influence is on the bottom left of the card (cost of two). ICE and Operations keep their influence costs on different parts of the card.

Card shown here .

I think (though I could be wrong) to date it's only Agendas that can't be taken out of faction.

Wow I'm a dolt I've only ever been looking on the bottom right... I didn't realize the influence is in different spots
