Ideas/suggestions for upcoming supplements or fan-made scenarios

By rabski, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I really like this game but I think it is lacking in some areas and would really like to see one or more of the following among the future releases:

Tomb Kings - An "egyptian" themed box.

Players venture to the deserts in search for riches, only to encounter skeletons and mummies.

Lizardmen - Adventure in lustria

Pretty much the same as above, only with a different theme. Players now have to deal with big scary lizards aswell as a harsh and deadly environment.

Undead - Vampires!!

This game really needs some more vampires (not the Twilight kind).

A vampire hunter career could be cool to play.

Naval expansion - To the seas.

I know that we have a dreadfleet pod, but it really is kinda small. A big box expansion would be really sweet.

Players can now aquire ship sheets. These ships can be uppgraded by socketing certain cards to the sheet. Also, alot of cool careers: pirate, buccaner, swashbuckler.

Theese are just some of my thoughts. Feel free to let me know what you think and if there is something that you would like to se in a future expansion.

I believe that ANY fan-made scenarios would be immensely helpful right now.

Additionally, a standardized set of rules for poisons and slaaneshi drugs would also be fantastic.

the campire hunter career is already there, i think it came with hero's call. its an advanced carrer for the witch hunter

i am writing all my scenarios myself now, or make em up on the fly. ATM we are playing a scenario in which the PCs have to get a new emperor elected and therefor get involved in politics a whole lot...

I keep wanting to adapt some old AD&D scenarios that I collected with my student loan money (that I'm still paying off), but I'd forgotten how primitive the old designs were prior to Paizo taking over Dungeon magazine and actually putting rudimentary plots in between the 8,000,000,000,000 goblins and other non-human A-Z monster dungeon crawls that they're still famous for...

About all I've been able to find is maybe to run Axe of the Dwarvish lords for a dwarf dungeon crawl.

The more I stare at it, the more I'd like to do a "quick lustrian trip", meaning that the PCs are tasked with staging a fake trip to lustria that actually only takes them to Estalia or something..and things go wrong and they end up in the Southlands instead (linking that roughly to The Enemy Within's Southland's Expedition) and possibly a very bad return trip up through Tilea and then the underground river to Wissenland.

Now that the "fans" have done up all of the areas for Warhammer Armies books, there should be lots of background to work with.

I've always loved the 'Saltmarsh' modules (U1-3). The first module always had a bit of a Warhammer feel and could probably just play out "as is." You would probably need to replace the main antagonists for both U2 & U3 (not mentioning so as not to spoil :).

Agreed on U1. U2 and U3 really are mostly just underwater dungeon crawls, but could probably be shortened up to be mutants, Lustrians or something (or it could simply take place on a colony in Lustria).

Oh, the "Southlands Expedition Two", now that we know the first one went off-course to recover a corrupt artefact, we must return to carry out the original expedition's purpose!

- I had the expedition using the ibn Jellaba maps etc. and made clear only a fraction of the expedition made it back alive.

Now there is an "after Enemy Within" mission. Could take PC's out of picture for the whole 2nd wave of Storm of Chaos (or rather have them see the Lustrian manifestation of it).

If converting, some D&D "savage coast" stuff can inspire. The Paizo module "River Into Darkness" would need a bit of adaptation but the basic outline of it could serve as a very Warhammer style adventure.
