I watched a couple of your videos. Learned a few things.
I was disappointed with your formation flying video. You concentrated on the standard "tight plaid" formation that mostly everyone uses...

...but not my favourite, the "loose checkerboard" formation:

If you watch the batreps I've posted online lately, you will see that my TIE Fighters flying in "loose checkerboard" formation (there's room inbetween each ship and they are offset diagonally) and can do the same turn together or the same bank together and stay roughly in formation with few problems.
You should also mention that pilots of the same skill level work best in formations so you have more choice of who to move first in order to avoid friendly collisions.
Also, pilots of higher skill should stay in the rear of the formation so that the lower skill level ships move first out of the way of the higher skill pilots.
