Wait...i'm naked?!

A small thing but it would be useful if characters started with some basic kit, like clothing, maybe a chrono, a communicator, etc. Currently, sure you have flak armour, but nothing to wear underneath!

Adding in 'all characters start with...' would help that a bit.

Also, with the initial Influence items (typically 3-4), we've assumed any item including weapon mods, and ammo count as 1 item too. Correct? It's not clear.

And while i'm at it, ammo quantities. How much do you have? Or are you assumed simply to be carrying 'enough' for most situations?

Yes, all of this. I always liked in the other games the other odds and ends your character starts with. Like having quills and paper if you're an adept, or an uplifting primer as a guardsmen.

And the starting ammo also needs to be explained somewhere, even if it's just a single clip, at least that way you know to get more ASAP.

I was wondering this as well.

Page 137 discusses the requisition of regular ammo, so they obviously don’t intend for regular ammo to be completely hand-waved. And since the Imperial Guard background benefit pertains to carrying capacity, they obviously don’t intend for carrying capacity to be completely hand-waved either. Therefore, it would be very nice if they would address the weight of ammo clips as well as how many you start with and how many you can get with a single requisition roll.
