yeah,
(copied from my post on dakkadakka...)
Ok so the next Starwars animation TV show is called 'Star Wars Rebels'
Set between EPIII and EpIV the styling of the show will join up the aesthetics.
The main rebel protagonists ship is going to be called 'the ghost'

IMO - We can only hope and pray that FFG gets access to these ships!
What do you think?

PAnic...

Ooh, I like it! Manages to be something new while still appearing consistent with the universe.

Besides, I love B-17s. :)

I'd buy that. Looks pretty sweet to me.

I think that this series could be really exciting in terms of viable new ships for us. It's pre-ANH but we'll hopefully get to see existing ships (in the EU I mean) like the Y-Wing and Z-95 mixing it up with TIE fighters and other new ships like the ghost. Lots of potential :)

I am super excited about the new series and think we will get lots of new ships from it while still being able to use most of the old - notice the TIE Fighters!

Oh look! Another flying pancake for the Rebellion! Those Rebels sure love their flying saucers!

Looks much smaller than the YT-1300. Looks like... 43 meters long? That would be much bigger.

Very Ralph McQuarrie. I'm loving it. One of the early Y-Wing concepts had a similar bubble turret as well.

In fact, a lot of the art design of this show is based on the art of McQuarrie.

Also, for those who don't know Aurebesh, the layout says:

1. nose turret sunner station (there seems to be a typo with sunner - presume it should be gunner)

2. forward floodlights

3. main cockpit

4. crew quarters

5. port docking ring

6. starboard docking ring

7. dorsal laser cannon turret

8. main cargo hold

9. engine assembly
