We are new to Talisman, but upon purchasing Frostmarch, we made a Talisman Token rule (each talisman is one talisman token, after 4 tokens, you can carry a Talisman). Along with this rule we made a cap on Str, Cra, and Life (12 max with pieces - Objects and others do not count toward cap).

You may go above 12 if you visit the Graveyard or Chapel and trade in 21 points of craft or str ((can combine) once per visit), to Sacrifice for an extra point of your choice. Also you can purchase str, cra or life before or after cap for 20 gold at the Temple (Once per visit), offer. Max is 15 no matter what.

We did this to lengthen the game and give people a chance to go into the dungeon instead of rush to talisman, 8str and command casting. I hope I didn't scare anyone to the length of our game increase.
