NoiseCORE

By CommissarFeesh, in Android: Netrunner Deck Building

So I've only been playing Netrunner for a short while. Currently I have only a single Core set, and a small number of regular opponents. I'd love to get some critique on my Noise deck - it's seeing some success with the people I'm playing against, but with such a limited player pool, I worry it might be too tailored to the styles I face often. Deck listed below.

Identity:

Total Cards: 45

Event (15)

Hardware (4)

Program (16)

Resource (10)

I tend to run very aggressively in the early stages, installing no programs (unless I pull Mimic and Datasucker early - I hate Ichi!) and face-checking cards as I go, forcing the Corp to spend cash on Rezzing cards, whilst also attempting to get my own economy going with the help of Easy Mark, Sure Gamble and Armitage Codebusting. Cyberfeeders are great once I'm ready to start installing Viruses and Icebreakers (I know Cyberfeeders don't pay for Icebreaker installs, but they make my real runs more cost-effective). Account Siphon and Bank Job are also good for quick money fixes.

Wyldside helps me draw faster, and Aesop lets me get shot of it when I need to (pretty standard I know).

I like to try and run with both Datasuckers and a Medium hosted on Djinns where possible, leaving memory free for Icebreakers and Parasites. I have noticed that Parasites can get memory-intensive though.

I guess it's pretty standard Noise tactics of Virus up and hit Archives, with opportunity runs on other servers when funds allow (Stimhack can make a surprise run very viable too, especially if you still have Wyldside running for the extra 'health' before a run).

I'd love to hear what people think I should change/add, both from the Core set I already have and from Datapacks.

I'm eyeing up Dyson mem chips for the MU and Link (I struggle with tags currently, as I can rarely afford the credits or clicks to be rid of them), but not sure what I'd cut (maybe Infiltration).

I'm also considering swapping Demo Run for Imp - extra viruses would be great (it's Noise after all) but memory can be an issue, and I'd be that much more vulnerable to Virus Purging. Also, there are a few times when Medium has built up nicely and I've been able to do some really deep R&D demo runs (immensely satisfying).

So there it is - any suggestions welcome!
