Ride the Monorail!

Has anyone used a falcon and two ywings to any great effect? I've been wanting to try this out badly, but won't be able to for at least 2 weeks. 360 degree fire arcs mean that I can just pilot the ships around asteroids, keep them all close together and damage all the IMPS. Just wondering if anyone has tried it.

In the Team Covenant Vassal tournament Ryan had a list he called "Han 360."

Han Solo (Marksmanship, Gunner)

He ended up in 4th place out of 16 people. Pretty nasty/good squad! I'd say if it interests you then you should definitely give it a go!

Hmm, sounds like a good squad. Maybe go with Lando and outfit one of those Y-Wings with the Blaster Turret when it comes out.

Yup seen it used successfully, and it's been noted in the Who's Won A Regionals thread in the Battle Reports section. That list noted in Team Covenant took first place in the Central Mass Regional, and 2nd place in Connecticut.

One of my favorite rebel squads right now is the Millennium Falcon and two Y-Wings.

Lando + PTL + Nien Numb + MF (49)

Dutch Vander + Ion Turret (28)

Gold Squadron Pilot + Ion Turret (23)

The starting formation keeps Dutch in the middle as much as possible. GSP moves, takes a focus. Dutch moves, takes a TL and passes one to GSP with his pilot ability. Lando uses PTL to take a TL and focus (and mixes evades in there when he needs to or has a TL already established), then passes a focus to Dutch. Everyone has two actions - and even if movement gets blocked by low PS ships you get Dutch's TL and Lando's free action if ships are still in range. Plus LOTS of shields and hull to chew through.

I think that Han 360 is a solid list but it will become much more viable with Blaster Turrets:

Han Solo (Marksmanship, Gunner)

Gold Sq. Pilot (Blaster Turret, R5 Astromech)

This list just screams "Take Dark Curse against this!"

Sorry I apologise for even mentioning it. ;)

It's a valid point, but I think that Markmanship (no focus token needed/spent) and Gunner (not a re-roll) are both decent answers to Dark Curse.

I flew against Curse last night and Vader. I hate those guys. Marksmanship was huge when I totaled a crit crit hit that poofed curse. The Ion turret is better for this list because it allows you to put distance between Han and your opponent's ships so that Han only takes fire from some of the ships each turn. In rebel on rebel crime this list is extremely good.

I was thinking about replacing the "requisite" ion cannon turret with the new Blaster Turret on a Y-wing, but that will have to wait. I read (on another thread, here) that Wave 3 won't be LIVE for the North American Championship Tournament. :( So that will have to wait,

I played the same squadron in league a few weeks ago and it played really well. Things looked bad for me at the end of the second turn, but then one Y and Han got into my opponent's flanks and there was nothing he could do to stop them.
