My girls loved it!

Just finished running Escape from Mos Shuuda for my daughters (9 and 13). They loved it and want to play again.

The dice system was a great asset. They caught on quick and the results were quick and easy to determine.

The adventure was easier than I expected it to be. They quickly blasted the Gamorians, stole the hyperdrive part, and sliced the spaceport control computers to release the docking clamps.

Then the Stormtroopers showed up. The girls ran for the docking bay with troopers in pursuit. A quick flash of the hyperdrive ignighter to the security droids at the docking bay got them waved aboard. Trex forced them to install it at gun point. The sounds of blaster combat drew Trex and the girls to the landing ramp. Where they found the security droids and the Stormtroopers in a shoot out. I had decided that the droids at the ship were in Trex's employ. Trex immediately began blasting troopers, who returned fire. The girls seized the moment to shove Trex out the door and lock it behind him. They then took off Nd fought off the TIEs with comparative ease.

They took great delight in using the Aim Manuver followed by the Fire Action, and in trading Advantages to eachother to provide a boost in combat.

Both want to play again. My big lesson learned, grab images of the various aliens, droids, etc to have handy to show what things look like.

I'm a 15 year old girl and I've been loving every minute of the games I've gotten to play in. I started with the Begonner's Box, too. But I wasn't terribly interested at first. I had played another game's beginner box and it was ok but I wasn't really wowed by it. I figured this game's Beginner Box was going to be the same but it wasn't. The dice and the chips made it so much more fun than just adding numbers. Its like the dice in Star Wars feel like part of the game instead of a tool you have to use to play.

Hope your girls keep having fun!
