Chapter XII: NPCs and Adversaries

In this thread, you can list any proofreading changes you find in Chapter XII: NPCs and Adversaries.

The Skulker (page 288) has the Nimble talent, but Total Defense reflects Toughness rather than Agility.

Should have 6 on the Head and 7 at all other body locations. Armor 2/3/3/3 + 4 Agility Bonus.

Nurglings seem slightly off. While their defensive stats are okay, their offensive capabilities seem somewhat strong for a creature of -2 size, dealing 1d10+10 damage with a RoF of 3. Maybe tone down their damage and agility somewhat to better represent the fact they're supposed to be more of a nuisance, not an actual threat unless encountered in large numbers.

There's a section on how novice enemies have only 1 armour value, but example novice npcs have different rating for different hit locations.

In honesty, I generally give all npcs in all games just 1 armour rating, unless there's something important about the armour.

  • The Pestilentant (p.292) has the Thunder Charge talent, but does not meet the 50 Strength prerequisite for that talent.

10+SB 's

  • All NPCs with the Psyniscience skill show the required attribute to be WP, but the Skills chapter says that Perception is used for Psyniscience tests. Which is correct?

  • They do not include the Damage and Penetration bonus equal to their Psy Rating

the tech-priest doesn't have a tech-use skill. I'm sure that's just a typo (or to be precise the lack of it)
