need help whit some questions

a)

may the the heroes use surges when attacking even if not get in damage,

like whit the whip

1 surge :move the target 1 space

or the enfeebling hex

1 surge :hex one monster within 3 spaces

if thay dont get any damage, can thay still use the effects?

or is it only condition that needs the surges?

b)

Guard of spoils (Treasure Hunter)

can he add the serch cards from encounter 1 in encounter 2 and cards before entering the encounter?

on the way to one encounter the Treasure Hunter finds 2 cards, do Guard of spoils add 1 gray from start then?

c)

Price of Prevention (overlord card, Punisher II)

if one hero gets defeated, do this card end? or can i still make him use one atribute to get one overlord card

a) Yes, the heroes may use those surge effects (Move the target 1 space and hex 1 monster within 3 spaces.).

Conditions specify that the attack has to deal at least 1 heart to inflict the condition on the figure, however these effects are not conditions.

b) I assume you mean from the Travel phase (Forgive me if that is an incorrect assumption.)? Once you begin a quest, a hero will possess the search cards he/she has found until the end of the quest, so if you find a Health Potion travelling to the beginning of encounter one, you hold onto it until the end of encounter two. (At which point you tally up the gold on all the search cards found and add it to the heroes gold pool. Even the expended items [An expended health potion for example.].)

So, yes, once the Treasure Hunter finds two cards, the Guard of Spoils would add 1 Gray die to his defense pool. Regardless of the encounter in the quest.

c)You follow everything that happens on the card and then, after the resolution of the entire card, the hero is defeated (If he took hearts equal or exceeding his health total.).

play this card on a hero at the start of your turn. the hero may suffer (heart) equal to an attribute of his choice to test that attribute. if he passes, discard this card

if he fails or chooses not to test an attribute, you may serch your discard pile for 1 event or trap card and add it to youyr hand.

(if he get defeated he still havent passed the test or?)

He would suffer the hearts, then test the attribute. If he passes, you discard the card. If the hearts would defeat him, he would now be defeated.

If he fails the test, you would search your discard pile for the card of your choosing, and place the used card in the discard. If the hearts he had taken would defeat him, he would now be defeated.

He will always test, regardless of whether or not the hearts taken will defeat him during the resolution of the card.
