Any of you guys who say the local Target in your area still has the core set at $40, check them at the price scanners they have in the store. I went to Target today to check & they had five with no price but a $39.99 tag on the shelf. I then looked in the clearance section & found one core set with a $19.98 clearance price tag on it. So I took that one & one of the 5 unmarked sets to the price checker & they both scanned at $11.98. If I hadn't of scanned them I would not have known so you guys make sure you check them at the scanners so you don't miss a great deal.

Went to 3 Target stores in my area. One was out of core sets, one had them, but they were priced at retail, and the third had a total of 7 sets priced at 11.98. Bought two of those. Such a deal, such a deal.

Just checked another one of the Targets here (in Utah) and they said they were "no longer selling the game" so it had gone on clearance and been cleared out.

Looks like Target might be planning on getting rid of their stock, so keep your eyes peeled.

Is anyone else clearancing, or just Target? Because my long-term hope would be that FFG might be preparing to release a second edition of the game or at least the rules set that would start from page one and more clearly define a lot of the new issues that have come up since initial release.

I doubt that's the case, but I can hope.

Last weekend I went to 7 different Targets. 5 had plenty of the core sets, but at full price. 2 had them on clearance, but were sold out. lol
