Are there any plans to release a large version of the Galaxy Map from Pg 328-329 of the main rule book. Either physical or PDF. Just curious. I would personally love this and would pay for it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Since the map in the core book is a rotated and redrawn version of the one in the Essential Atlas, releasing it separately would basically put two Lucasfilm licensees in competition with each other. I'm willing to bet that FFG's license specifically forbids that kind of thing.

You could make your own. I haven't tried this yet, but there are apps for iOS and Android that are specifically meant for cleaning up pictures of book pages, they reduce the curvature of the page, angle and so on. Here's a show on TWiT explaining a couple such ways to go about this (and what the apps are.)

As a heads up, that's missing a lot of planets.
