Repeated Pages - Seriously?

By Corradus, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Just checked mine (I take it with me to work for light reading) and there are no problems with it. Other than the fact that I can't seem to read more than a couple of pages in less than 20 minutes.

Mines not faulty. on PAGE 192 if you look close you will see Carrie Fisher in the slave girl outfit.

Honest.

Ha ha ha, You made me go and look! :)

Carrie Fisher Salve girl outfit will come in Age of Rebellion, just a whole chapter on it, with each of the FFG artists taking their own crack at it, and at the very end a simple gear stat line for it.

Interestingly, the slave girl outfit will provide more Defense than Boba Fett's battle armor.

Only against straight male characters, especially if they're your brother...

Nope, it's not my imagination. Pages 353-363 are printed twice in the corebook, the firs time, they're printed precisely where they're supposed to be numerically and the second time they're reprinted in the Law and Society section after page 368.

Yeah, you're the odd man out. My two copies were just fine.

This ain't a tough mistake to spot, most of those pages are planetary profiles and they're black, so a cursory examination of the edge of the book would see something was wrong.

Easy to spot on a one-to-one evaluation. Probably just a smidge harder when the printing press is spitting out thousands of copies at a time. The up side is that it's an easy fix - just contact the seller and they'll hook you up.

It's not the press spitting a thousand out a time where this happens. It happens in the binding phase. Someone just mis-stacks a stack of paper, mixing one set of page with another, and boom. Bad books. Likely to be at least a few books that got bound incorrectly. They may have caught most of them before shipping them out, so a bad book at retail is probably rare.

Unfortunately, the art for slave girl Leia will be based on present day Carrie Fisher.
