In the combat rules it is mentioned that a player cannot parry unless he is carrying a melee weapon or a shield. But there are no shields in the armoury. Is it possible to add a basic shield to the armoury?

Would be cool if we could use improvised weapon rules for the purposes of a shield for evasion.

So you could try and block that huge chainsword coming your way with your lasgun, but you'll take horrendous penalties trying to do so...
