Typos

By Braddoc, in Dark Heresy Second Edition Beta

Might as well make, as I'm sure they will come up.

Not really a typo than conflicting rules in this case..

Page 111:Bulging Biceps, under Effects :

Effect: The character only suffers a –15 penalty to firing an unbraced heavy weapon, instead of the normal –30.

but later, on page 132, under Weapon profile :

• Heavy: Large and powerful, these weapons must be
wielded in two hands. Ranged heavy weapons receive a –20
penalty to attack tests made with the weapon unless it is
braced

The Sapping qualities of certain things (mostly mono and the bleeder rounds) are still listed as Sapping (X) rather than a numerical value

On that note: is sapping supposed to be for Mono weapons? Thematically it seemed to me that Piercing would be more appropriate... Sapping would seem to fit shocking weapons in my view?

That's what I thought as well, perhaps they went with the piercing damage a mono blade does to the skin, slicing deep like a scalpel?

Remember, it's a Beta, you're supposed to tell them when you find errors like this. Maybe they need us for proof readiing?

'For example, if raising
a skill from 2 to 3, and modifier is 150, the total cost would
be 300 (3 x 150).'

I'm pretty sure 3 x 150 is 450, I guess they meant 2 x 150.

Is the "Parting Blow" described under Counter-Attack on p 98 meant to be the same as "Disruptive Blow" on p 199?

Table 5-8 lists RoFs for melee weapons. Should this be RoAs?

P127 The title of the Fear trait is missing.

Table 5-8 lists RoFs for melee weapons. Should this be RoAs?

Nah, all weapons have a RoF.

RoA = AP spent on the attack * RoF of the weapon.

Cool thanks!

Table 6-5, entry 9-10, psyker misspelled as "pskyer."

Not really a typo but I would like to see the Sage renamed to something like 'Savant' and the Mystic renamed 'Psyker'. Sages and Mystics just sound like the sort of names heretics would use.
