Tracking Range (free gizmo I created)

By CharlieBananas, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Ok back in the Beta I had said I was working on a way of tracking range as my players had difficulty in WFRP, and now the core is out here it is...

If someone can take a look and let me know if my instructions make sense that would be very cool, I hope it is of use to others.

All the best

Mike

Edit: heres the pics from last nights game,,,

Took me a couple reads to grasp what you were aiming for with the folding/taping. A cross-section might help.

Thanks for taking a look, I'll be using it soon and will take some pictures and create a diagram or two as well, I was trying to keep the PDF down to a page, but I'll move all the instructions down to a second page.

Cheers

Mike

A picture of video of the final product would be even more helpful.

Now added assembly diagrams in the PDF and edited my first post with some pictures from last nights game.

Cheers

Mike

Much better, Charlie

Thanks Aramis, I have printed enough of these s0 that each player can have two, and that seemsmore than enough.

What about simple strips of paper or plastic that mark out the number of maneuvers for each range band, then put that under each of your minis? If they were made of a clear material you could easily overlap them. Lines about 1 inch apart would stick out only 6 inches, and other minis could fit on top of them. Use some tape or sticky tack to hold them down, pull it off when you're done.
