Surprise all this goodness for $61.00 awesome!

Same here but + 1 of the TB's and BW's.

I get three of each of the special ships (TA,TB,AW,BW).

:)

Nice, I plan on more in the future but I want to order some imperial Starwings form Tom at Utar ships.

Post shading and color modulation done, now just touch ups and weathering and I think I am done here.

Am I seeing little chips in the paint, on purpose, or is that some dust and unworked areas?

I hope it is on purpose...Ha,Ha!

Roger testing paint chips for weathering ;)

There is a wonderful trick I saw where you undercoat, then you spray the area with hairspray and then dust with sand. You then airbrush the area with your main colour then flick off the sand to return areas back to the undercoat.. there is also a wonderful trick involving using a 2b pencil to pick up edges with a slight metallic sheen.

Both I think would work well with this kind of model with large panel areas.

I use those techniques on tanks often I fear that may be a bit heavy handed for 1/270 scale.

Starting new project, will build 2 at one time with walk through instructions on build.

Where did you get this picture?

I really not sure I think it an original print from a book about ep 1.

That picture comes from the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars: Role Playing Game Saga Edition source book, Starships of the Galaxy.

.. Which I own :D

I would be inclined to agree most of the time but these ships are large and have a lot more open space than most X-Wing ships. So I think they might work here.

Looking good my Friend in space...Ha,Ha!

Needs some dirt and sloppy dry brushing to pick out the edges more.

:P

(I know...shut up and make my own then paint them how I want them to look...)
