Edited by TRamseyLooking good!!!!!
lower tail section boxed in and complete minus landing gear door.
So I was thinking about two of these for my next project, and I noticed how similar the ships in the background looked like heavier Gozanti Cruiser. I suppose I will have to build those also when I get better drawings LOL!

I pointed out in another thread the Gozanti lookalikes above would make a great cap ship for FFG to introduce. I think the chance of that is about zero, so go nuts.
PLEASE MAKE THE GHOST FIRST. It is probably my favorite new ship since the Venator and BTL-B Y-Wing. Or perhaps make two Ghosts and consider selling one... ¬.¬ [to me]
Edited by aadhDid the math this ghost is a pretty big ship. 16.26 cm Long, 12.66 cm wide. and 5.3 cm tall. This should be interesting it does not look that big from the drawings.

Yeah I remember seeing 40-something meters somewhere. I'd have thought it was no bigger than the Falcon.
Love what you've done with the cruisers. I'm not sure how I've managed to be away from this forum for so long with awesome projects like this happening...
Thanks the build part of the project is near completion I cannot wait to prime and paint these two.
Patterns for landing gear doors.
Landing gear doors attached.
Progress pics.
Patterns cut for rear check bulkheads and first set boxed in. This required some test fitting and tweaking to get right.
Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.Looking forward to reading rules if you have ideas.
Well folks there she is hull superstructure complete. All there is to do now is detail work, primer and final paint. Still not sure of the exact color scheme yet.
Both cruisers together, not so bad I am glad for the effort, was not as bad as I thought it would be.
Comparison shot of my scratch projects.
More detail added to bottom bulkheads.
First lower radar dish added.
These little models are so COOL!! I love . . . well, pretty much everything really. Your scratchbuilding work is impeccable.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what rad paint jobs you intend to give these bad boys.
Thank you for the kind words on the build. I really expected them to give me more headaches, to my surprise they came out pretty well with little effort.
I'm generally quite surprised how easy scratch-building turns out to be. I was given a six-foot Great Lakes ore boat for a model railroad club I was in, and ended up using only the hull and the stack. Everything else I built from scratch, decks, hatches, superstructure and even an unloading boom. Turned out pretty nice, much to my surprise.
Second radar dish mounted on with small swivel that move to protect in while in transport to games.
Last radar dish on.
