Banner from the storm - Calls it thinking

It stays in your hand (and never entered play). What you did was step 1; trigger a response (from out of play), step 2 - it was cancelled, so it never resolved and therefore never entered play.
This is no different than cancelling Catelyn Stark (LoW), Khal Drogo (Core), etc. It is, however, different from cancelling "Bloodrider" since putting him into play is a cost - cancelling that effect would only cancel the cancel, but not keep Bloodrider in hand.

yeahhhh, thanks, i had reason!!!!!, then i can trigger another time, the same as Catelyn and Khal Drogo XD
Just a slight note as the comparison to Catelyn Stark isn't perfect. The significant difference is that the banner's effect is a response. The cancellation of the response means that you can't just play it again like you could Catelyn. Your whole response opportunity for that particular response was lost.
No - the response opportunity is not missed. The limit 1 response/trigger/(card) only applies to cards in play.

Since you're still in the response window of winning a power challenge, you can quite happily trigger Banner for the Storm again.
Edited by -IstarilNice to know that I can just repeat the response
I had a similar situation but one where Banner of the Storm was already in play
I won a power challenge and wanted to move banner of the storm, from being a character to being an attachment
That was cancelled and I assumed that Banner just stays in play as a character - again as opposed to being discarded
However, as the character was in play, I assume that I could not retrigger the response

Yup - all of that is correct. As it's a card in play, you cannot re-trigger the response (at least not in that same response window), but the cancellation of the response means, essentially, nothing happened. Your banner of the storm is still a character, sitting idly, waiting for it's glorious days of being an attachment.

Hmmm... Makes sense I guess. You don't want to be forced to call a judge to verify a player has multiple of the same card.
