People are only running less Rejections because they're looping the ones they do run with Defender.

If anything, I imagine people would be running Rejection more since Evil lost Absurd. Rejection is an absolute necessity, Defender or not. It is hands-down the best block alternative ever made, and will remain that way if unaltered (Gain 3 and take 1 if you don't block, block and Breaker: 2 if ya do)

Set 11 the foiling was less then optimal.

From what I've been told, that issue will be rectified for Set 12.

the over foiling was awesome some of the rares like i dunno SUPREME RISING RAGE FLASH looks epically cool, fair enough there wasnt a diffrence in foillness with rares and supers but it doesnt bother me

I didn't particularly care because, like a lot of people, shiny is what's important, now the degree of shininess. The obvious complaint was that there was little to no differentiation between rares and ultra rares.

Mostly, I think the best spoilers would be to do what they did last year: spoil starter exclusives.

Well, the first two were URs, the podcast spoilers were commons, and only these two were rares... so it's possible for the most recent ones. However, IIRC, the new rarity lettering system DID have an unique starter rare designation (SR or somesuch)... but I may be mistaken.

It was SE (starter exclusive), as Hata explained on the first spoilers.

I hope we start getting Starter Deck spoilers. >_> Going into a prerelease nearly 100% unknowing of the decks is..not to my liking. ; I'll probably still be picking Nightmare, though.

Well Steve Horvath has confirmed that he will be spoiling some of the characters next week. Which ones he will spoil is still up in the air.

he'll most likely have it be half-half like the others have been.

maybe Yi Shan and Algol, or Zi Mei and Hilde... or some pairing like that.

So am I the only one that's super excited to see the ShadoWar characters? Cause I really dig what we have so far for ShadoWar, and I really like them making their own title for their game. I want to see what the starter characters do though, so if they spoil some characters, I want it to be starters.

nah man, I'm anticipating those cards too just that I'm getting my roommates into the game too and they only know the characters coming out for the soulcal set. also I don't follow the story of ShadoWar -.-

Honestly, you're not the only one, in a sense, I've been following ShadoWar (even though I don't really like it, I'm just a squirrel packing information in my mouth) since it's inception. My opinion is this : It's not great, but they could have done FAR worse, so that's good.

when my playgroup first heard about shasow war we all said there going to make it stupid cause it is there own lisence and etc. but after reading the bios and stuff we are all liking it and cant wait to see the stuff. Personally i cant wait to see zei mei's finiaher cause i am already having silly ideas with her after seeing midnight laucher hehehehe.

Honestly, I think people are just being ignorant when it comes to ShadoWar. The most common statement has been "I don't feel right playing with generic Egyptian versus generic Chinese warrior."

Not only is it a concept that has been in creation for a while, but dude, look at our franchises: this is PERFECT for adding on! Now we have our generic fighter (SF), our weapons fighter (SC), our weird futuristic crossover fighter (KOF), our cultural Japanese fighter (SS), our monster fighter (DS), and our martial arts fighter (TK).

This just adds to the list of versatility, and gets more people into the story.
