Pure Affiliations?

By AussieJedi, in Star Wars: The Card Game

Got a weird question about affiliations...

If I play an Alliance deck but splash in one or two neutral objectives, is it still considered to be "pure" Alliance? I would say no, but someone was talking about playing a pure Sith deck, but still take neutral, so it confused me.

Also to follow this up, if I play Mobilize the Squadrons, take my affiliation card as Alliance, is it permitted to still splash Jedi, Smugglers or neutral?

Just some things that have been on my mind.

Thanks

i would say yes, its certainly a "pure" affiliated deck as neutral sets have no affiliation, hence, no affiliation card.

You can still splash other affiliations just not any that say "X affiliation only" that is not on your affiliation card. Otherwise you can mix and match how you want.

Pure Sith would be no other affiliations, neutrals don't count.

Question is moot, there is no such term as pure in this game.

Just because it is not defined in the game does not mean it is not a valid term. We all know what Pure means. At least I hope we do.

pure

/pyo͝or/

Adjective

  1. Not mixed or adulterated with any other substance or material.

Without any extraneous and unnecessary elements: "pure art devoid of social responsibility".

Exactly my point.
