I might be biased, because I've been wanting to build a deck with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma (and, ideally, Garm Bel Iblis) since before the game came out - for Nedly reasons of course - but I see more promise in Alderaan's Promise than some of the commentators on CGDB appear to. Being able to dictate the order of an opponent's attacks is incredibly powerful, especially when combined with the ability to move objective damage. Putting even that aside, I could see running this objective set for Tantive IV alone, in a deck reliant on unique heavy-hitters. Ironically enough, the only card I'm neutral about here is Organa himself, but one card isn't enough for me to Bail on this set. *rimshot*

Nice. The expansion will definitely shake things up a bit. The Sith Wraiths look slightly over-costed; I wish that they only cost 2. The difference between 2 and 3 resources is huge. 2 resources means that you still could have the ability to play another significant card, 3 makes that significantly less likely. 4 resources means that you better be dropping something that will dramatically affect the board.

Nice to see S&V getting some blast icons, edge-dependent or not.

I am so excited to actually have these in hand and deck test.

Just a first glance deck I came up with (I'm not counting on it being amazing). To me people undervalue Fetts pod. With how much capture is available now, the card "Bounty Collection" and the objective "Bespin Exchange" I feel will be very solid, along with fett who is fairly ok, his armor which is great, and a free black blaster which is never bad I feel we may see plenty of his set seeing play.

I could be wrong though I guess we will have to wait and see.

I think the problem most people are having with Boba Fett's set is Boba Fett. His card is very average, when fans expect him to be amazing, which causes the other cards in his set to be overlooked despite being actually quite decent.

Yea I feel Boba is just mediocre, but his set is really solid in my opinion. If you manage to get his armor on him he does become a force to be reckoned with.

I saw this the other day and I am really disappointed there still isn't a better version of boba fett out.

This statement is directed at the player who broke the obvious NDA and posted them on CGDB. This is not directed at Toqtamish in anyway. He was simply sharing them with the community and giving us something to look forward to when we open the boxes in a few days.

These are really nice but sadly I feel that these shouldn't have been posted. Having play tested a few cards games my self there is a very long and firmly worded contract you sign when becoming a play tester. This goes for anything really, Video games, TV shows, etc....Its a agreement that you will not share any of this info with anyone outside what the contract says.

So in turn someone that signed one of these types of contracts and deliberately shared them with people outside of what he was allowed to. This is something that can not happen. Those of you that have been playing magic for a long time will remember when a few pro players where able to play test the newer sets 6-8 months before they where released. There one of them that thought it would be fun to spoil the whole set. So they posted it. Well, what they didn't know is that wizards had given them the right card list but some of the text was changed. This is how they found out who was the one that spoiled it. That pro player was banned for almost a year and a half. Think about this next time you want to spoil something or break you contract. Is it worth your 1-2 days of internet fame only to get let go from play testing or even worse lose your job?

We want FFG to be able to trust its players and its play testers. This can not happen if this keeps up. Again the spoilers are nice but they drop this week in stores so trying to look cool on the internet by breaking NDA is dumb. Who ever did that should be ashamed.

If the original poster is to be believed, these spoilers came from an employee of one of the distributors who pulled an early copy, and not from a play tester. Being that FFG does not have hard release dates so that they can get product out as soon as it's available, I'd say the source of the spoilers is above board. At least, if you believe the source.

I base this off the text in the post it self. Again I have been a play tester for a few games and based off what I have gotten from when we are given a card list, this is from a play tester. Its written out in a way where it looks good enough to post but there is enough errors and missing text to where the publisher can catch it.

I don't know, with the timing of these coming out the week that the expansion is hitting the stores, and the fact that someone now has scans up on toptiergaming, I'm willing to give the original spoiler the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with this. The timing is what 'proves' it to me. If this IS from a playtester, and they broke their NDA, I hope FFG kicks 'em out. Otherwise, these are legitimately obtained spoilers.
