I am curious what you all think about the cost specializations... For me they seem really, really expensive. The first one is either 20 or 30 points, which is one or two full adventures worth of experience with nothing to show for it, but opening up a door. =O
Purchasing of a specialization is a HUGE XP set back. When looking at it the cost appears too big to me. What do you think?
I am looking at 3 possible specializations for my cat burglar styled Thief - 1 of which is an in-career specialization:
Slicer: this is the primary one I want mostly for the computer talents
Scoundrel - I only like this for the skills: cool, charm, and ranged light; the talents are similar to the Thief's, which are just OK to me.
Assassin: I am considering this only to give me more combat ability, since there is tremendous skill overlap here with Thief.
