Shenandoah Valley, VA Netrunner - Staunton/Harrisonburg

By invictus_1693, in Android: Netrunner Organized Play

I'm looking for players the the southern Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia. There's a great FLGS in downtown Staunton, and I believe there's one in Harrisonburg as well. Shoot me a message if you're interested; there are two of us so far in Staunton, looking to add more and I'd love to get a regular group going.

We were able to get a game going this week between me and the other player in the area; it can happen! Also, the Dragon's Hoard still has some copies of C&C in stock at the time of writing.

C&C and most Genesis Cycle data packs are in stock at Dragon's Hoard, and Comic Toast in Harrisonburg has some as well. More tournaments are upcoming at The End in Charlottesville, and a group is carpooling to the Glen Burie Plugged In tournament on October 11th.

As soon as I can, I'll be attending the board game Saturdays at DH, and see if I can set up a Netrunner tutorial night there.

It's been a couple years since I was at James Madison, but there was a FLGS and also a traditional games convention at the university annually, so must be some players out there!

Thanks for the tip! Is there another game store besides Comic Toast? I'll have to see what info I can find about the traditional games convention; it sounds like a great place to find people.

I'm in lynchburg and I have a friend in Roanoke, so we're not that far away. I heard about the group in Charlottesville. I'm looking to see if we can find more places to play also.

Do you have a place to play out there in Staunton/Harrisonburg? How many people do you get? How often do you have events?

I've got a place to play in downtown Staunton (it's open late and has several tables), but finding other players has been an issue (that is, just me in Staunton so far). Once we get into October I'm going to approach the store owner about letting me run some Netrunner tutorial nights, but that's all a ways off.
