The RPGG forums are a little slow for EotE right now, but this idea popped into my head and I was wondering if anyone had brought it up before.

What are the possibilities of rolling X-Wing, Star Wars: The Card Game, and Edge of the Empire into one large game? I know two of those games are designed (for the time being) to be head to head games but the possibilities of using them to build stories for EotE are immense. The LCG would give an overarching conflict incorporating Palpatine and Vader and Luke and Han as well as lesser characters (like a Force Sensitive Exile!). Small interactions in an LCG game could lead to storylines in EotE. X-Wing would allow you to play out a large scale space battle (something potentially beyond the scope of EotE) using several members of your group that would subsequently inform a future adventure for your group of PCs.

It needs some work and these may not be the best examples but it seems like finding a way to roll all three FFG Star Wars properties into one massive campaign would be a fun way to carry it forward in different ways or even between group sessions.
