Through my lack of dexterity, I have managed to break two pegs. I snapped the tip off of one peg into the other, rendering both useless (insert genital joke here). I would like to replace them, however, FFG's policy is to replace game components for the reason of manufacture defect only. I've heard of exceptions. But, I don't want to be that guy asking for a handout.

I've looked online. The only site I found selling replacement pegs seemed kinda shady. Are there other sites that sell the pegs? I'm not skilled enough to make my own pegs, so DIY isn't really an option. Any suggestions?

There have been some reports of people needing more pegs and just asking for them. As long as Fantasy Flight doesn't offer replacements to buy I don't see what's wrong with asking. As you said, they're such a unique object anyway I can't imagine where to go to find third party ones. Good luck to you.

take a pic and email the customer support section at FFG, I have had nothing but good luck in dealing with them, just tell them the truth...they did replace my Firespray pegs when mine cracked. Good luck.

If you have access to a pin vice and the practice for it, it would be a fairly simple job to drill holes in the centre of each end and superglue a thin wire (like from a paper clip) to each. Plastic glue around the base and the join will be extremely strong.

I used plastic glue between my two Millennium Falcon poles when the hollow end of one split, and the resulting join has no problem bearing the weight of the ship.
