Odd problem with entering text in the quest editor

By StormKnight, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I'm having a bit of an odd problem here. Using the Descent quest editor, when I try to enter a new text object, it puts in the 'Treasure Chests' text that I was last using. It then retains the size of that text block no matter what how I edit the actual test, so if I cut it down to one line, its still selectable by clicking well down on the screen from it. This makes it hard to manipulate objects!

Has anyone else seen this? Anyone have a solution?

Any new text objects you create default to the text and font of the last edit you made before you last closed the editor. Or something like that. Apparently.

Anyway, if you edit a text block to have a small message, then save, quit, and reload, that should be your new default text.

The editor has a variety of strange technical problems and omissions. It's not being maintained or updated...it's certainly ripe for another editor to swoop in and replace it, if anyone feels inspired. They've been promising us a new one now for longer than I've been playing Descent.

I've tried that without luck...I guess I'll have to fight with it more :)
