Looking forward to Age of Rebellion, however.....

I hope AoR does not limit it's view to Rebels or Good Guys. I hope the flavors allow for ideas to be both Rebel and Imperals. For example, soldier having lore, pictures, specialations geared for both factions styles.

To make its own book I'd be surprised there would be enough rebel only content. I'd happily make a wager that it will be both factions, I guess you'll only have to wait until gencon to find out.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's going to feature factionless military classes, that you could adapt to any faction you'd wish.

I suspect there will be a lot of material that can be tasked for different military factions, but based on everything I've seen so far, AoR will focus on the Rebels, not on both sides. I seem to recall reading or hearing (I think it may have been in that 10 minute video from last week) that they want AoR to be about the experience of what it feels like to be part of the Rebel Alliance in the same way that EotE is about what it feels like to live on the fringes of society.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a fair amount of Imperial equipment detailed - not only because those are the bad guys, but because the Rebels would probably steal a lot of it for their own use. :)

I've the same expectation. Just as EotE provides base rules for playing characters of a greyer morality (how Dark Side application works, a lack of hero-specific traits/qualities/mission formats), I'd think that the classes would be generic and military, like "spy" and "soldier" - things that could be trailored to either faction within the civil war.
