Both the Defensive Stance and Dodge do not specify that they work against Brawl based attacks. Does anyone know if there is a specific reason for this?
There might be other talents like this as well, these were the first two that caught my eye.
Defensive Stance and Dodge
They still work against those, they're just not being called out by specific skill name. Dodge also doesn't mention that it works against Ranged (Light) and Ranged (Heavy) attacks but you can suss it out anyway.

The talent calls out ranged and melee. Clearly Light and Heavy are considered subcategories of "ranged attacks". Are we then assuming that Brawl is a subcategory of melee attacks? It seems like if this is the case, it should be called out somewhere in the book.
I am 99% certain that when the book says 'melee' with a lower case 'm' it means 'Melee' and 'Brawl'.
The only thing that causes me to doubt this is that other talents call out Brawl and Melee checks separately (see Feral Strength and Frenzied Attack).
All of this is explained very clearly in the text box on page 205 labeled "Ranged Attacks and Melee Attacks."
This is a good example of why it's important to pick good, clear terms of art when designing something like this. It's also a good example of how it can be tricky to do so.

Thanks for the reference, much appreciated.
