I plan to run a little session this weekend and my players will face some servitors. While I was trying to "power-balance" the fight, I started to wonder if the "Armour" provided by "Machine Trait" is subjected to Penetration or if it has to be dealed with like a Toughness bonus.

Since the Machine Traits seems to be "reflected" in the AP of the different servitors in the DH core rules, I would assume it will be "penetrated".

Any known errata? Or perhapbs an official statement by FFG?

All Armour is subject to penetration. At least i have found no source in the rules which states otherwise. And since the Machine trait gives armor (and no Forceshield or Thoughnessbonus) it is penetratable.
